Worcestershire house prices soaring compared to this time last year.

The area of Worcestershire is experiencing a mini property boom, with house prices rising faster than in any other parts of the country. Towns such as Worcester, Malvern, Droitwich and Pershore in particular are seeing a rise according to a report run by property website Rightmove.

More than double the 3.1% increase seen across the England and Wales, Worcestershire has seen a year on year increase of 7% for August, showing strong market growth.  

Average house prices in Malvern have risen from £239,500 to £260,500. Other areas of Worcestershire have seen an increase from £246,000 to £264,000 and Worcester itself from £212,000 to £227,000.
