Split over four floors, there will be 33 one bedroom and 33 two bedroom self-contained apartments, alongside communal areas for social and leisure activities, treatment room, gardens with views of the Wyrley & Essington Canaland parking. Located on Carl Street, Leamore, the development is within easy access to local shopping, leisure, social and community facilities as well as s transport links.

The new homes are designed to give those aged 55 and over the opportunity to live as independently as possible whilst having access to additional support should they need it. Support packages available as part of the scheme includes home visits, regular leisure activities, care services as well as a designated care officer for the site.

Clare Thomas, WHG’s head of health and wellbeing, said: “Work at Keelson Pointe is progressing well and we are already starting to see interest from potential customers. We are really keen to hear from anyone who thinks they will benefit from moving into the homes, including those who want to ‘rightsize’.  The high-quality homes are not just available to WHG customers, so we would encourage everyone to spread the word about this exciting scheme to their family and friends.”
