Initially, Dixons seemed the most enthusiastic and motivated agent of all who valued our house. However, once we had chosen them we had to chase everything every step of the way. Excellent Willenhall Branch
Excellent service provided. They got us lots of viewings on our property and actually sold it 3x times for us, buyers dropped out due to waiting so long for us to find our dream home (our fault) All ran really smoothly and Dixons really couldn't do enough for us. Emma and Hayley I dealt with the most at Willenhall branch and they were both fantastic. Would highly recommend Dixons to anyone, they really cared about selling our property and did everything they could for us, I don't envisage us ever moving from our forever home but if we did I would 100% use Dixons again.Customer Relations Team 10-Aug-2017

They have rented my old property out and sold the property for me. They were always on top of every thing. If they needed any thing, they contacted me, got clearance and actioned the problem. All the people in the office were approachable and friendly. (Lichfield Office) During the sale, Marie was always interacting with the buyer and myself. Also chasing the solicitors, keeping me updated all the time. So we all worked towards the same goal, completion!! And, John was always in the back ground, supporting the whole sale. I wasn't so comfortable with the finance department, not so friendly.
I went against good advice and chose Dixons to manage the sale of a property owned by myself and mother. She has been in care home for a few years. Right from the start they came in with their sales gimmicks and unrealistic valuation figures just for buyers to start knocking them down. Then they wanted me to accept first or any offer for a quick sale. At one point my son became frustrated and had to negotiate a reasonable offer price. They recommended their in house conveyancing solicitors and both made mistakes. Responding to emails and telephone calls became a nightmare. The branch was first based in Great Barr, but moved to Kingstanding and is managed by a sales progression team based at Chester Road, Castle Bromwich. After this move, communications became even more haphazard and there was a drop in my interest being placed uppermost. After completion and when a few hiccups occurred, the lady heading the sales team became very hostile and attempted to distance herself when told she had not communicated vital information regarding the buyer back to me. That resulted in furniture and other possessions not being removed from the property even though I requested a time in doing so. She claimed it was a matter for the solicitors and Dixon could not get further involved. All she had to do was arrange a deadline time for removal of items with the buyer. Having charged the earth to handle the sale,(£2,700 approx) these people would not admit to being wrong at any point and showed no compassion. They said they did a sterling job in securing a sale. The whole customer experience was shocking. Dixons are quick to grab your money but become hostile when things go wrong. Worst Rental estate agents
So far, my experience has been appalling with Dixon. Your estate agents simply have no care for their customers and try to invent different ways to con landlords every month. They seem to dump everything on landlords and take no account of circumstances. I have been invoices for electric safety check an amount of 278£ with no explanation, I was advise that electric check costs 50+vat at initial visit by your agent.
